General Considerations

Skillsoft only supports AICC 2.2.
A decimal time and decimal score is not supported in AICC 2.2, and is not supported in Skillport.
Prior to submitting AICC content for publishing to Skillport, the content developer should ensure a representative sample of the content functions correctly using the AICC Test Suite Sample validation.
Subject matter review and content testing is the responsibility of the developer.
If an implementation relies on tools and technology used by the content developer, it remains the content developer's responsibility to make any necessary edits to the files for interoperability issues.
Make good reuse of templates and share them with other developers. This provides a framework that can be tested once and used many times for maximum benefit.
When creating an Assignable Unit file, do not include spaces between the records.
Developers should ensure that they review Appendix 1: AICC Implementation Issues in detail for additional technical considerations to ensure interoperation and correct courseware functionality.
