Prior to submitting LOT content, you are required to manually create AICC file sets (interchange files) that must accompany the content or the IMS manifest file. Following that, the files must be converted to the Skillport Course Structure Format prior to deployment to Skillport (this conversion is achieved using the Skillsoft Compatibility Kit or with the assistance of Skillsoft Custom Solutions). LOT content natively employs the JSAPI communication protocol, but once integrated with Skillport it is launched using the Custom Content player, which converts JSAPI calls to Skillport’s HACP communication method.
