Publisher v2.7 (February 2013)
Changes and Modifications
- AICC, Passive, Dialogue Design, and SkillStudio content can now be published for use on smartphones and tablets.
- This release includes support for Internet Explorer 10 on the Windows 7 operating system.
Known Issues
- In some environments, a blank page displays when you log in to a Publisher site using a proxy server. (CR 133591)
- If using JRE 1.6.x, an error occurs when launching a SCORM12 or MultiSCORM12 course at the Runtime Check step, and the course cannot be played. This is an issue with JRE, not Publisher. (CRM 1413026, CR 124411)
- Workaround: Update JRE to version 1.7.x.
- When using Internet Explorer 10 with Windows 7 (32 bit or 64 bit) in non-compatibility mode, a Fail Runtime Check error occurs for SCORM 2004 courses. (CR 134182)
- An error occurs if you log in to Publisher, either directly or through Skillport, with a user name containing the $ (dollar sign) character. (CR 121359)
- The contents of the C:\Documents and Settings\<user>mumupload\ folder must be deleted periodically to prevent the folder size from becoming too large from uploading multiple courses. (CRM 1431296, CR 73010)
Bug Fixes
- When Publisher Customer sites use https protocol, courses are now launched at runtime with https protocol. (CR 118781)
- The name of the Publish to SkillPort button has been changed to Publish to Preview. (CR 101601)
- A version properties file has been added to the Publisher API jar files. (CR 116481)
- The status displayed when upgrading players is now consistent between different accounts. (CR 100123)
- The Publish Again functionality is now working correctly when publishing passive content to the Production site. (CR 123454)
- When editing metadata for a course, an extra bullet no longer displays on the summary page for Course Objectives. (CRM 1413714, CR 127541)
