Important Considerations
- Review the authoring guide for the type of content tested and ensure that best practices have been used and no known issues have been introduced as a result of not properly following the guidelines. Authoring Guides for the different types of custom content are available from the Skillsoft Client Community.
- Test the course in all desktop environments the audience is expected to have to ensure that dependencies and/or browser or JRE-specific bugs or issues are resolved appropriately (for example, does the course properly exit when terminated prematurely or when a pop-up blocker such as Google is enabled?).
- Ensure that the window JavaScript arguments and metadata on the course launch summary page are correct and that the course appears correctly as well as any descriptions.
- Ensure that the functional requirements for courseware completion match the actual actions required to have the course marked completed in Skillport. (Refer to the specific content type authoring guide for more information).
- This is the last opportunity for a content QA. Consider if:
- The content has been properly spell-checked.
- The correct version of the content has been implemented.
- Any style guidelines or other client-specific guidelines have been properly implemented.
