Restore a Course
You can restore a retired course back to the production site from which it was retired. During the restore process, the course snapshot that was created when the course was retired is uploaded to Skillport. Once a course is restored, it is again accessible to learners.

To restore a course
- On the Courses tab, click the Actions link beside the desired course, then click Restore.
- When the message displays that the course will be added back to your Skillport production site, click Next.
- Click Next in the message indicating the site where the course will be restored.
- If there is more than one production site, you must select which site to restore the course to. You can restore the course to multiple sites; however, each site must be selected individually.
- If the course has been removed from all production sites, the Upload Contents page displays:
- Click Browse to navigate to and select the course snapshot file.
- Click Upload.
- If the course is still installed on a production site, the Course Details page displays.

- Select the source from which the course will be restored, either the preview site or the displayed production site.
- Preview sites are only available if they have been enabled by your administrator.
- Click OK.
- When the message displays that the course was successfully uploaded and re-installed, click Done.
- The course is listed on the Courses tab, with the
(Available) icon displayed in the production site column.
