Progress Tab

The Progress tab displays the status information for courses that you have taken. Under the title of each course is displayed the status of the course shown as the course score, the date and time you last accessed the course, and the lesson scores (if applicable).Scores

For some courses, scores are displayed by topic. For all others, the Progress tab displays course scores. For some courses, the lesson scores show three results: Pre-test, High Post-test, and Current Post-test respectively. The score is a percentage indicating the number of correct answers for the test.

• Pre-Test Result: Reflects the score you achieved for the pre-test questions for that lesson. Pre-tests can only be taken once.
• Post-Test Results: There are two scores for Post-test Results: High and Current. The High score shows the best score you have achieved for the lesson. The current score shows your result from the last time that you answered the assessment questions. Post-tests can be taken as many times as you want.
  • A hyphen (-) displays for any lesson Pre-test or Post-test not yet taken.
  • Assessments appear in lesson order.
  • Lessons that have no assessment scores are not listed on the Progress tab.

Export Results

The Skillsoft Course Manager CD-ROM has an optional feature that allows you to manually export course results files. This feature can only be enabled by an administrator, and is only available in conjunction with Skillport. When you complete your courses, you export the results to a zip file. This zip file is sent to your administrator who uploads the course results files to Skillport.

If this feature is enabled, the Export button appears at the bottom of the Progress tab. When you select the Export button, you are prompted to specify a location to save the zip file. This zip file contains your course results for all the courses you have taken. Save the zip file to your local hard drive or network drive. You can then transfer the zip file to your administrator via email or removable disc.
