Overview
Skillsoft's Common Course Architecture (CCA) requires a unified course ID scheme that works for all content/product types. The new ID is structured to be flexible enough to support new content types.
The CCA Course Identifier (CourseID) includes the following useful information about the course:
This results in a longer CourseID than any previous Skillsoft course type.
Note: The new course IDs only apply to CCA content. There are no plans to retrofit current course IDs to match the new model.
