Change Due Date

You can change the due date for any In Progress or Scheduled assignments. If the assignment is a recurring assignment, you can edit an individual user's or audience's current due date and keep the recurrence in place. See Edit occurrence for an individual or audience.

Site Admins can change the due date for any In Progress or Scheduled assignment. Learning Admins can change the due date for In Progress or Scheduled assignments they created for their audiences and the learners within their audiences.

You can change due dates for assignments in one of two ways:

Change due date for all

  1. From the left navigation bar, select Learning > Assignments. The Assignments page displays.
  2. Locate the In Progress or Scheduled assignment.
  3. From the Action menu actions menu icon, gray elipse > select Edit.
  4. From the Summary page, select Edit Assignment details. This takes you to the first step in the Assignment workflow.
  5. Change the due date to the new date.
  6. Keep selecting next to move through the flow, then select Next, update assignment. The due date gets updated for all assignees.

Change due date for an individual

To change the due date for an individual:

  1. From the left navigation bar, select Learning > Assignments. The Assignments page displays.
  2. Locate the In Progress or Scheduled assignment.
  3. From the Action menu actions menu icon, gray elipse, select archive icon, gray box with white downward arrow Summary. The Assignment Summary page displays.
  4. Select the Manage Users tab.
  5. Identify the person whose date should be changed and from the Action menu actions menu icon, gray elipse, select Change due date.
  6. Enter a new due date and select Save. The learner sees the new due date.
