HRCI Courses

Note: The HRCI tab displays if you have accessed content that is eligible for HRCI credits.

The HR Certification Institute is a global leader in developing rigorous exams to demonstrate mastery and real-world application of forward-thinking HR practices, policies and principles.

Skillsoft is an HRCI Approved Provider, #2304. As such, courses are preapproved for general recertification credits towards aPHR™, aPHRi™, PHR®, PHRca®, SPHR®, GPHR®, PHRi™ and SPHRi™.

If an administrator grants you a completion in the form of an admin override or waiver, you cannot receive HRCI credit unless you first open the course and view all videos yourself.

You can download your HRCI certificate from the Learning Activity page once you have completed an HRCI eligible course.

  1. From the left navigation bar, select My Learning, then from the Your Recent Activity block, choose See all activity
  2. For items not yet meeting criteria, from the Actions menu actions menu icon, gray elipse, select Completion Requirements.
  3. The HRCI requirements display in a dialog box.

If you do not see a Download Certificate option from the Actions menu either:

  • Your site does not have this feature enabled. Contact your Site Admin for more information.
  • You were granted a completion in the form of an admin override or waiver by an admin and are not eligible for a certificate. Open the course and view all videos yourself to be eligible for an HRCI certificate.

To view the certificate you earned:

  1. From the left navigation bar, select My Learning, then from the Your Recent Activity block, choose See all activity, and select the HRCI tab.
  2. From the Actions menu actions menu icon actions menu icon, gray elipse, select Download Certificate.

The HRCI certificate is downloaded as a PDF file. It includes your name, course title, date of completion, recertification credit hours, and the HRCI Program ID (also referred to as the six-digit HRCI Activity ID).

  1. To print a certificate, open the downloaded PDF file.
  2. Click the Print button. The Print window displays.
  3. Verify the print setting, Scale: Fit to page is enabled.
  4. Click the Print button.
