Submission Guidelines for First Time Manager Career Journey

Congratulations on completing this phase in the First Time Manager Career Journey!

You are here because you need to either submit a unit project or your Capstone project for review.

To submit a unit project:

  1. Complete all worksheets you downloaded from the unit course. The worksheets provided help you use the plan and propose; initiate and implement; and the review and resolve stages of the Aspire FrameworkClosed The Aspire Framework provides guidance on how to progress through a project.The stages are: 1. Analyze 2. Scope 3. Plan and propose 4. Initiate and implement 5. Review and resolve 6. Evaluate to ensure your responses are complete and meaningful.
  2. Save each worksheet as a PDF file appending your first name_last name to the beginning of each filename.

    For example: Jane_Doe_Team+Management_6.+Evaluate+Yourself.pdf

  3. Add all PDF worksheets to a zip file entitled with your name and the unit title

    For example: Jane_Doe_Team+Management.zip

  4. Send the zip file to: FTM.CareerJourney@skillsoft.com. Your mentor will provide feedback via email within one week.

To submit a Capstone project:

  1. Assimilate all evaluation stage worksheets you completed as part of your Unit projects into one folder.
  2. Add all evaluation PDF worksheets from the folder to a zip file entitled with your name and First Time Manager Capstone project.

    For example: Jane_Doe_First_Time_Manager_Capstone_Project.zip

  3. Send the zip file to: FTM.CareerJourney@skillsoft.com. Your Skillsoft coach and mentor will provide feedback via email within one week.
