PMI PDU Courses

Skillsoft is approved by PMI to offer Professional Development Unit (PDU) credits for its courses that are related to project management.

PMI requires that every student enrolled in an Authorized Training Partner (ATP) Project Management Professional (PMP) exam prep course must have a learner kit. To purchase a PMP Learner Kit from Skillsoft, visit the PMI Product Purchase page.

If an administrator grants you a completion in the form of an admin override or waiver, you cannot receive PMI PDU credit unless you open the course, view all videos and take all knowledge checks and tests yourself.

If you are a PMI credential holder, you can download a PMI certificate from the Learning Activity page once you have completed a PDU eligible course.

  1. From the left navigation bar, select My Learning, then from the Your Recent Activity block, choose See all activity.
  2. From the Certification credits filter, select the PMI PDU option.
  3. For items not yet meeting criteria, from the Actions menu actions menu icon, gray elipse, select View details.
  4. The PDU requirements display in a dialog box. You can also open any course and look on the Overview tab for details about credit requirements.

If you do not see a Download Certificate icon to the right in the item's row, either:

  • Your site does not have this feature enabled. Contact your Site Admin for more information.
  • You were granted a completion in the form of an admin override or waiver by an admin and are not eligible for a certificate. Open the course and view all videos yourself to be eligible for a PMI PDU certificate.

To view the certificate you earned:

  1. From the left navigation bar, select My Learning, then from the Your Recent Activity block, choose See all activity.
  2. From the Certification Credits filter, select the PMI PDU option.
  3. Locate the item in the list and then select the Download Certificate icon to the right.
  4. In the pop up box that displays, select the Download certificate link for PMI PDU completion.

The PMI PDU certificate is downloaded as a PDF file. It displays your name, the name of the course, date of completion, and the PMI training credit value.

PMI requires that every student enrolled in an Authorized Training Partner (ATP) Project Management Professional (PMP) exam prep course have a PMP Learner Kit.

  1. To print a certificate, open the downloaded PDF file.
  2. Click the Print button. The Print window displays.
  3. Verify the print setting, Scale: Fit to page is enabled.
  4. Click the Print button.
