New Features and Enhancements for May 6, 2025
AI Updates
The items in this section highlight changes to AI elements in Percipio so you can stay in compliance with your internal processes.

We are targeting to update our AI conversation models for CAISY, AI Assistant, AI-assisted search, and AI answers in Q&A on May 29, 2025. Learners are not likely to notice any changes when interacting with any of these features.
This update is part of our commitment to staying current with the latest advancements in AI technology, ensuring that we continue to provide you with the best possible security and user experience. If you require additional information, please reach out to your Skillsoft account team.
Expanding skills of your workforce
The items in this section provide ways to grow your talent and fill critical skill gaps, building mastery with confidence.

To help admins and learners easily access official certification credential documentation that learners uploaded as PDFs, they can now view and download those PDFs at any time.
Admins can go to Learning > External learning and select View PDF from the actions menu.
Learners can go to My Learning > Learning Activity > External Learning and select View PDF from the actions menu.
This feature is available for both badges and certification paths with uploaded PDFs.

To help ensure learners are getting the most precise and targeted content recommendations, they can now choose from a total of over 700 job roles in Role Advisor. When you enable Role Advisor in Percipio, learners can add a job role and rate their level for associated skills. Based on these factors, Percipio makes content recommendations specifically for the learner to improve their skills for that job role and level so that learners can spend time learning things they need to grow and be more productive.

With this release, when a learner selects any skill from Role Advisor, they now see a dedicated skill page highlighting content related to that skill specifically for their role. If learners haven't set their skill level, they get prompted to select it upon opening the skill page. This improvement helps learners better understand and engage with the skills relevant to their career paths..
Manage, promote, and measure learning
The items in this section provide the tools you need to manage users and content, promote learning, and measure learning effectiveness on your bottom line.

If you have a learner who needs an extension on an assignment, you can now change the deadline for just that learner. Once saved, the revised date will automatically reflect to the learner and show in reports, ensuring a seamless update process and accurate tracking. To edit a due date for an individual:
- Select Learning > Assignments.
- Locate the assignment in the list and from the actions menu, select Summary.
- Select the Managers Users tab.
- Locate the user and from the actions menu, select Edit due date.

Get more precise targeting when you create audiences with the standard user attributes of: Direct Manager, Job Role, Job Title, and Percipio Role. These attributes now display as options when creating or editing an audience, giving you the opportunity to create dynamic lists of users tailored to your organization's needs.

The Welcome email settings section is now prominently positioned at the top of the page for quicker access. In addition, it is easier to see that you have options to send the welcome email either to all users who have not yet logged in or to specific audiences.
For more details, please see Welcome emails.
Analytics Updates
The items in this section showcase changes to reports and dashboards to help you more effectively and efficiently manage your programs.

This new data point allows you to gain deeper insights into user activities by examining them through the lens of their job roles. The Job Role column is located after the Recurrence column and is not selected by default, so it should not impact any current integrations with the Detailed Activity report.
This update ensures that you can tailor your reports to include only the most relevant information for your analysis.
Usability Enhancements
The items in this section show where we are making improvements to the interface for a better experience.

With this update, CAISY is now available in these additional languages: Arabic, Croatian, Czech, Latvian, Lithuanian, Macedonian, Romanian, Slovakian, and Slovenian allowing you to better serve a diverse learner base.

To improve the user experience, the modal that displays when you want to share content with another has a new interface. All the same sharing opportunities still exist. These changes include adjustments to the modal's width and the repositioning of the copy link, all based on the latest design guidelines.
