New Features and Enhancements as of February 24, 2026
Manage, promote, and measure learning
The items in this section provide the tools you need to manage users and content, promote learning, and measure learning effectiveness on your bottom line.
Coming soon, learners will see a new search filter called Personalized search. When they turn it on, they will see more relevant and meaningful search results tailored to their specific job role. The new filter will retrieve up to 60 search results based on the learner’s search query and will re-rank them using an LLM that takes into consideration the learner's job role context. The re-ranked results ensure that higher-quality, role-relevant items display at the top, improving engagement and learning outcomes. Note that personalization affects the ranking of search results, not their visibility.
With this release, you will see a new admin setting, Enable personalized search, that will be on by default. Before the feature goes live for learners, you can choose to disable the Personalized Search feature for your organization. We recommend that you keep it on to help ensure learners see the most relevant content for their needs.
You can locate the new setting at: Site settings > Site Configuration > AI Settings > Personalized search
If enabled by your Skillsoft account team as a beta user, you can now create learning journeys faster using a new AI‑assisted creation process. If you choose to create a journey using AI, you are prompted to answer some key questions and then AI does the work in putting the journey together and recommending content to meet your objectives. You can refine and edit what the AI assistant suggests along the way before you publish.
For more details on how to create a journey using AI, please see Create journey.
You now have the option of whether to include one-time secure sign-in links in welcome and login assistance emails. These one-time links provide a seamless and secure login experience for learners.
By default, the setting is enabled, ensuring that learners receive a secure sign-in link that automatically logs them into Percipio when they click it from an email. This link is usable only once and expires within 24 hours. If the user were to click the link after the expiration, they are prompted to log into the platform with their credentials.
You can choose to disable this setting after which sign-in links will no longer be included in future emails. The setting is at: Emails & Notifications > Settings > One-time security sign-in.
In this release, you see a new permission when you customize a platform role called, Search as admin. It is located under the Content Management section and is enabled by default for all roles.
When you enable this permission, users with this role can search the entire library when working in the admin interface. They will be able to find content when creating assignments, learning programs, channels, journeys, or when adding content strips or banners, hiding content, or managing audience entitlements. If you disable this permission, the users with this role will only be able to search content in the admin interface that is entitled to them as a learner.
This feature gives you more control over the visibility of content and ensures compliance with organizational needs.
Engaging your learners to build a learning culture
The items in this section provide ways to engage your users so they want to learn and make learning a habit.
By default, when you create a custom email campaign, the From name field is pre-filled with what you specified in the Organization name setting. With this update, you can change the default name that shows in the From name for each custom email campaign you create. This provides a more personalized touch that can enhance engagement with your audience.
If you load Skillsoft courses on your LMS using the AICC format and you have language equivalencies available, your learners can now can access the courses in their preferred language. With this improved functionality, you can provide a more inclusive and accessible learning environment for all users.
Compliance, Ecosystems, and Integrations
The items in this section help you to integrate Skillsoft platform across your learning ecosystem and promote how Skillsoft works with its partners.
You can now rename configurations within the Percipio Compliance Suite, enhancing your ability to organize and manage your compliance content. After you publish the renamed configuration, the updated title automatically reflects across the platform without the need for manual updates to assignments.
Additionally, when reviewing a configuration’s version history, you see the name change indicated on the new version, while older versions maintain their original titles for historical reference.
You can now add your industry and company size as data points in the platform. This information will be used in the future to help you benchmark your organization compared to others of your size and industry.
You can add your data at: Site settings > Site configurations > Site features > Organization details
