An article is the primary method of adding content to a blog. Only an administrator or author can add an article.
To add a new article
Click Quick Links > Blog at the top of the page.
On the Blogs main page, click Manage Blogs.
On the Manage Blogs page, click Manage this blog below the desired blog name.
On the blog page, click Add New in the Posts section in the left pane.
The Add New Post page displays.
Enter the title of the article in the text box marked as Enter title here.
Add the content for the article. For details on how to format the article, refer to Format the Article's Content.
Note: You can add content using either the Visual tab or the HTML tab. The Visual tab uses a WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) editor for authoring. The HTML tab allows you to enter HTML directly into the article.
(Optional) Add an Excerpt to the article.
Excerpts display as a summary of the article. If the excerpt is not entered, the summary is taken directly from the content of the article.
In the Discussion section, select Allow comments to allow contributors to comment on the article.
You may assign categories or tags to this article before publishing it. For more information, refer to Assign Categories to the Article and Assign Tags to the Article.
