What is the Skillsoft Publisher?

The Skillsoft Publisher is an easy-to-use Web application that allows you to upload, preview (if enabled), test, and publish your proprietary elearning content to your hosted Skillport LMS. The .par file generated by the Publisher accelerates the deployment process for your custom content. The SPCSF file and SP6ContentAvailable file are made available to Skillport as part of the process of copying the new content to the established content site.

The Publisher enables you to:

Upload custom content including Passive, AICC, SCORM, and courses generated using Skillsoft development tools (CCT, e3 Mix&Match, Dialogue Design and SkillStudio).
Identify content that does not conform to Skillsoft guidelines for customer content publishing (file format, file size, files type, virus scan).
Authorize content to be loaded into your preview site where you can then locate and launch the content through Skillport.
Preview sites are only available if they have been enabled by your administrator.
Receive/review notifications of content available on a live Skillport site.
