Getting Started

The Skillsoft Publisher is an easy-to-use Web application included with Custom Content hosting agreements. It allows you to upload, preview (if enabled), test, and publish your proprietary elearning content to the Skillport LMS.

The Publisher only accepts content that is converted, tested, and packaged. The original course files are converted from an existing standard (AICC, SCORM) and Skillsoft's proprietary development tools (Dialogue Design and SkillStudio), into files used by Skillport.

With the Skillsoft Publisher, you can:

Upload content from your computer to Skillport upload servers through a virus check scan.
Verify content that has been properly converted.
Move the content to your specific Skillsoft content server.
Preview and test the content on a separate Preview Site.
Preview sites are only available if they have been enabled by your administrator.
Publish content to the live production site.
Use the reporting options to generate reports on content.
