Select your Role

If available on your site and if your administrator has not provided a job role for you, you can specify your job role or a job role you aspire to become from a pre-defined list of roles.If your role is added by your administrator, you cannot change it. Otherwise, you can change your job role to the next-level job role or a different role at any time.
 
Based on the job role you select, Skillsoft Percipio Platform shows you personalized recommendations for content you are likely to find the most interesting and relevant. The content displays in a tabbed strip on the Role Advisor page, making it easier to discover content important to you.

Add or edit your current role

If your administrator did not specify a role for you, you can add one or edit it yourself at any time. To add or edit your job role:

  1. From the home page, tap Role Advisor.
  2. Enter your job role, then tap to select it from the list.
  3. Tap Save.

Add or edit your aspirational role

If your administrator enabled aspirational role, you see this option from Role Advisor. To add or edit an aspirational role:

  1. From the home page, tap Role Advisor.
  2. Tap Add an aspirational role or select the edit icon.
  3. Enter your aspirational role, then tap to select it from the list.
  4. Tap Save.

Switch between roles

If you have both a job role and an aspirational role set, you can switch between them using the switch icon. You can only have one role active at a time, but you can switch between them at any time.

To set or change your focus skills for your current or aspirational role you must switch to the Skillsoft Platform on the web.
