Company Profile

You can configure how your learners view the Coaching platform by configuring your company profile. Here you can add your logo, a welcome message, how the platform uses AI and which video systems learners and coaches use when interacting.

When you configure your company profile, learners feel a sense of belonging to your organization and engage.

Get Started

To configure your company profile, you must be an administrator for Skillsoft Coaching:

  1. From the left navigation, select the settings icon (it looks like a gear).
  2. Ensure the Company Profile tab is selected.
  3. Specify the following settings:
  4. Select Save & Publish before leaving the page in order for any changes you make to be saved.

Enter your company details

In this section you see the following fields:

  • Company name: Type your organization's name.
  • Country: Select where your company is located.
  • Industry: From the drop down, choose what type of industry your organization supports. You may select multiple industries.

Add your company logo

Upload your company logo (recommended size: 200x24, recommended file type: JPEG, PNG.

The logo displays in the upper left corner for learners and coaches using your platform.

Customize your welcome screen

The Welcome screen is the first thing learners see when they launch Skillsoft Coaching. You can choose to use the default image and messaging provided by Skillsoft or provide your own.

If you want to use the default image and message, keep the toggle switch off.

To use your own image and message:

  1. Set the toggle switch On.
  2. Either select an image or video from the gallery, or upload your own.
  3. Choose the language(s) you want the welcome message to be displayed in. Type a welcome message of up to 600 characters for each of the languages selected.
  4. Optionally, enter your company name in the field Enter company name for welcome message "A message from".
  5. Review what your welcome screen looks like and be sure that everything appears how you want it to.

Company Document

Add a company document that is visible to all coaches paired with a learner at your company. This document helps guide the coaches on your policies, procedures, mission, vision, and company culture so that they can best advise the learners.

Upload a PDF or DOCX file that is no more than 2 MB.

Enable AI

When this setting is turned on, learners are able to interact with features that support the coaching platform through conversational and generative AI. The Coaching Guide provides support throughout the platform and assistance with content recommendations and developing goals.

If you enable AI, you also have the ability to set whether a learner can share their side of the AI conversation with Skillsoft as a way to improve the AI interactions in the future. The setting is: Partner with Skillsoft to improve Coaching Guide.

When Partner with Skillsoft to improve Coaching Guide is on, the learner setting that allows Skillsoft to log the learner’s side of the conversation is turned on for all learners. When off, the learner setting is off for all learners and Skillsoft does not log the learner side of the conversation unless a learner chooses to turn their setting on.

Video System for Coaching Sessions

In this section, you can decide which video systems learners across the platform use to meet with their coaches.

When you turn on Use Skillsoft Video System for Coaching Sessions, you provide the option of using the built in Zoom link for your learners coaching sessions. The options are:

  • Use Skillsoft Video System for Skillsoft 1:1 Coaching: If you turn this setting on, learners have the option to use the Skillsoft Zoom link for individual coaching sessions, or set their own meeting link. If you turn this off, learners must provide their own link for the individual coaching session.
  • Use Skillsoft Video System for Skillsoft Group Coaching (required for group sessions): If you have Group Coaching you must keep this setting on even if you turn off the main setting: Use Skillsoft Video System for Coaching Sessions.
  • Enable AI video session summary: Applies to Group Coaching only. When on, an AI-generated summary is produced for group coaching sessions. This summary contains no personal information or specific quotes and is visible to learners.
  • Enable Chat in Skillsoft Video: Applies to Group Coaching only. When on, learners can converse in the Zoom chat window while the session is in progress. When off, the chat option is not available in Zoom meetings.

When you turn off Use Skillsoft Video System for Coaching Sessions, learners must provide their own unique meeting link for their coaching sessions. This video provider link must be provided by your company.
