Message Center

In the Message Center, you see all chats between you and your clients as well as any notifications from the coaching platform. To access the Message Center, select the chat icon from the top navigation bar. If you have new messages, a red dot displays on the Message Center icon to alert you.

On the Message Center page, you see two tabs at the top:

  • Chats: These are messages between you and your clients.
  • Notifications: These are messages that alert you of actions taken by your clients, or reminders from the coaching platform.

Chats

On the chats tab, select a specific client or your Skillsoft Coaching Guide from the list on the right to view your messages with them. Clients are notified by email 10 minutes after a message is sent if they have not yet read it. If a client is online, the icon with their initials next to their name turns green.

Use chats with your clients to update them about an upcoming session, remind them to view shared resources, or remind them to schedule a session.

For clients that are part of group coaching, if you send a message to the whole group, it also shows in your individual chat with them.

Notifications

On the notifications tab, you see a list of your clients and Skillsoft Coaching Guide on the list on the right. The number in parenthesis next to a client indicates how many unread notifications you have from them. Select a specific client or Skillsoft Coaching Guide to see the notifications from that source. You can sort to see all messages, or just those that are Unread. A notification remains unread until you specifically mark it as read. To do this, select Mark all as read at the top, or from the actions menu of a notification , select Mark as read. This indicates that you have seen the notification so that it no longer shows as a new message.
