Coaching plan

Your coaching plan is designed to help keep your coaching engagement focused and directly tailored to your professional goals.

To create your coaching plan:

  1. After your first coaching session, you see the item Create your coaching plan display on your To-Do list.
  2. Select Begin to view the Coaching plan page which you can also access any time from the left navigation.
    • Write out your professional vision and up to three actionable goals that you want to focus on during your engagement.
    • Work with your coach to develop this plan over time so that by the end of your engagement, you can track your progress and see how much you have achieved.
    • You can make edits to your coaching plan up until remeasurement begins.

Your coaching plan consists of:

  • Professional Vision: Your professional vision is what you hope to eventually achieve in your professional career. Think big picture, long term goal. Use suggestions from your AI assistant to help if you are not sure what to write.
  • Developmental Goal: Developmental goals are SMART (specific, measurable, achievable, realistic, time-specific) goals that help you work towards your larger professional vision. Use suggestions from your AI assistant if you need help coming up with goals. Add up to three of these developmental goals. Note that the administrators in your organization only see your answer to the question, 5. What leadership role does this goal relate to?.
  • Manager's Feedback: You may request that your manager provide comments as part of your coaching plan so that you can get their input on what to focus on as well.
