Cornerstone LMS Integration Requirements

To use the Cornerstone LMS connector with Percipio, as designed, you need to meet the following requirements.

If an item is marked with an asterisk (*), you must have it to integrate Cornerstone LMS  with Percipio.

*A valid identifier for each learner that is configured to match one of the following Cornerstone LMS  values:

  • Cornerstone LMS User GUID: This is a long alphanumeric value that is also unique to every user in Cornerstone LMS (Ex. B79DE953-31AC-4C89-A89E-AFA760CD2B2D).
  • Cornerstone LMS User ID: This is the User ID of the Cornerstone LMS user.
  • Cornerstone LMS Email: This is the unique email address of the Cornerstone LMS user.
check icon, blue box with white check mark *A SAML Identity Provider (IdP) that is able to supply user details including the identifier to Percipio, so learners can seamlessly access content in Percipio. Skillsoft recommends using the Cornerstone LMS as the SAML (IdP).
check icon, blue box with white check mark *Credentials for Skillsoft to connect to the Cornerstone LMS API so that Skillsoft can send the progress information for the learner completion tracking.

We recommend this because all content from all Skillsoft collections is synchronized to one Cornerstone LMS catalog and all learners who can see this catalogcan see all the content.
