Submit and Verify the Import
When you submit an import, a success or failure email is sent to all recipients included in the Response Email Address. Verify the email is correct and add additional email addresses if needed.
After all fields are complete, you are ready to submit the file to the server.
Note: If this is a first-time import for this file, ensure the Server is set to REVIEW.
- Click Submit.
- Wait for the email to confirm whether the import succeeded or failed. See About import run times.
If you have entries in your file that match required field values of what is already in the system, these entries are ignored and you do not receive any error messages.
- If the import failed:
- Review the csv file attached to the email. The csv file includes the row number of the data that caused the failure and the reason for the failure.
- Correct the errors in the import file.
- Resubmit the import to the REVIEW server.
- Once the import succeeds:
- In the Customer Service site, return to the Main Menu.
- Click Setup Data Exchange.
- Ensure your organization is listed in the drop down.
- Filter the list by Active Items Only.
- Locate the previous import.
- Click Edit.
- Change the Server to PROD.
- Click Set to Reprocess.
- Click Submit.
- After you receive the success email, review your Production site to ensure all data imported as expected.

Imports run at the following times:
US Data Center
- Immediate submits to Prod and Review servers:
- Mon-Sat 8am-10pm Eastern Time
- Sun 4pm-10pm Eastern Time
- Automated Customer Imports
- Nightly Prod 2:15am Eastern Time
EU Data Center
- Immediate submits to Prod and Review servers:
- Mon-Sat 8am-10pm UTC
- Sun 4pm-10pm UTC
- Automated Customer Imports
- Nightly Prod 2:15am UTC
