Preview the Course

Once the course is published to the Preview site, you'll receive an email with a link to the site and your login credentials.

Note: If you don't receive a confirmation email, check the Status of the course on the In-process Course Uploads page, which should read Ready to test.

To preview your course

  1. In the confirmation email, click the link to the preview site.

    2. The Preview site login page displays.

  2. Log in to the Preview site.

    3. The preview site opens.

  3. Click the Learning Plan icon.

    4. The Learning Plan page displays.

  4. Locate your course and click Info to view the course information.
  5. Click Launch and navigate through the course to verify there are no errors, and the course plays as expected.
    • Play all videos.
    • Take all quizzes and tests.
    • Achieve a 100% score on all course tests.
    • Make sure all completion requirements are enforced in order to pass tests and compete the course.
    • Test all links within the course.
    6. Note: You must complete the course, and achieve a score of 100% on all tests, before you can publish it to the Production site.
  6. Exit the course.
  7. Return to the In-Process Course Uploads (Staging Server) page.
  8. The Complete on Stage value for the course updates to Yes.

If no errors were found while reviewing the course and you are ready to publish it to the production server, see Upload a Course to Production.

If you need to make changes to the course before you upload it to the production server, see Resubmit a Course.

Note: Each preview assignment remains in your learning plan of this review account. After you complete it once, you can publish it to production. To allow for multiple rounds of testing, each course is always reassigned and ready for you to test again. If you completed the course, you can ignore the reassignment.
