Completion Criteria
Completion criteria establishes the requirements a learner needs to meet in order to complete a course. The two main criteria used to establish completion are Visitation and Test Score.
- Visitation determines the length of time a learner must spend within the course, and whether or not the learner must visit each page in the course.
- Test Score determines whether or not the learner must achieve the minimum test score established in the Learning Assignment Passing Threshold setting.
None. The value in the Score column is only applicable when using Percipio Compliance with another Learning Management System.
When using Percipio Compliance, the passing threshold set in the learning plan assignment determines when the user achieves completion of the assignment.
Yes. When you save changes to global completion criteria, the change is immediately applied to all courses. If you change the criteria for specific courses, the change is immediately applied to those courses.
If a learner already competed the course, the completion stands and the learner does not have to retake the course in order to meet the new requirements.
If the course is incomplete, the new criteria is applied to the course the next time the learner launches it, and the learner must meet the new requirements to complete the course.
As a reminder, for assignments made within Percipio Compliance, you must adjust the score at the assignment level, not from the Completion Criteria page.
On January 1st, you create a Learning Plan Assignment for all Warehouse Managers that includes a course on Business Ethics. The course has several pages of content and a course test.
The completion criteria for the Business Ethics course was previously set to visit all content ONLY, with no minimum test score requirement. However, on February 1st you decide to modify the criteria and require learners to visit all content AND achieve the minimum test score.
Sofia completed the Business Ethics course on January 31st. Since she completed the course before you changed the criteria, she does not have to take the course test.
Juan started the course on January 15th, but did not complete it before you changed the criteria. On February 2nd, Juan relaunches the course and discovers he must now pass the test in order to complete the course.
