Define Prerequisite Courses

If Prerequisite Courses is enabled, you can require courses assigned to a learner be completed in a specific order by selecting which course must be completed first.

Note: If you need to assign prerequisite courses and the feature is not enabled, contact your Compliance CSM.

To assign prerequisite courses

  1. Select Content > Prerequisites.
  2. Select the course title from the drop-down list.
  3. Click Add.
  4. On the Edit Prerequisite Courses page, select the prerequisite course title from the drop-down list, or search for the course by title.
  5. Use the check box to indicate whether or not the due date of the selected course will be based on the completion date of the prerequisite course.
  6. Click Done.

To edit prerequisite courses

  1. Click Edit beside the course title
  2. Add or delete associated prerequisite courses – add using the steps above; delete by clicking Delete beside any prerequisite course title you wish to remove.
  3. Click Done.
