Yes, there is a fee for Skillsoft Professional Services team to implement the Degreed LXP connector. After you implement the connector, it is free to use as part of Percipio.

No. The connector uses standard functionality available in Degreed.

Yes. To setup the connector you will need the assistance of your Degreed Technical Team.

Yes. The Degreed LXP  connector is the only supported method for automatically synchronizing Percipio learner usage data.

You can choose to manually export data from Percipio or use the available APIs to build your own process to import and synchronize the data if you wish.

This will depend on how prepared you are and the availability of your resources to work on the project.

To ensure your success, our Skillsoft team will work collaboratively with you during the implementation process and help you make decisions around deployment options that will work best for your configuration.

Our implementation team has defined the project schedule based on our years of experience and best practices. The project typically takes 6-8 weeks, but each project is unique and so Skillsoft will make our best effort to accommodate your schedule.

Yes. All Skillsoft content types can be made available in Degreed LXP .

Yes. During the implementation process you will work with the Skillsoft account team to select the content you wish to make available.

You will be able select by the Skillsoft content types, for example only adding courses, and further refine the selection to specific content items if you wish.

It is important to note that if the content items are not loaded into Degreed LXP, then usage will not be recorded in Degreed LXP for these items.

No. Skillsoft compliance content is not part of the content synchronized by the connector. Compliance content is provided as AICC packages. If you license from Degreed the additional SCORM Cloud add-on, you will be able to load Skillsoft compliance content.

A Degreed LXP administrator  manages the scheduled time, but the process runs at least once a day.

Yes. All the Skillsoft content in all languages will be included in the process.

Yes. New Skillsoft content items will automatically be added to the Degreed LXP .

Yes. Updated Skillsoft content items will automatically update in Degreed LXP.

Yes. Retired Skillsoft content items will automatically be marked as inactive in Degreed LXP.

Yes, for certain values. These values are usually unique to your specific implementation of Degreed LXP and not related to Skillsoft metadata about the content item.

During the implementation process the Skillsoft account team will work with you to configure these values.

No. There is no synchronization of Skillsoft Subjects and Areas to Degreed LXP equivalents. This information is added as Degreed Tags that can be used in Degreed search.

No. There is no synchronization of Skillsoft Collection information to Degreed LXP.

Using SAML Single Sign-on (SSO) means that learner’s access to the content in Percipio should be seamless. This is dependent on how your SAML system is configured.

Yes. Skillsoft recommends using Degreed LXP as your SAML Identity Provider, but you can use any identity provider so long as it can supply the correct learner identifier.

No. Using our recommended SAML configuration means that a Percipio learner account will be created the first time the learner accesses content. The learner account is populated with the SAML information your system supplies. Subsequent accesses will update the Percipio account based on the data from your SAML system.

You can also choose to setup an automated feed from your HR systems to add additional learner information to Percipio, if all the information is not available in your SAML system

Degreed LXP   uses the metadata about Skillsoft content delivered through the Automated Content Management process. Degreed LXP  has its own algorithms for displaying content, handling learner's searches, and providing content recommendations which is different from Percipio.

No. There is no synchronization of Degreed LXP assignments to Percipio.

No. There is no synchronization of Skillsoft subjects and areas to Degreed LXP equivalents. This information is added as Degreed Tags that can be used in Degreed search.

Learners will be able to discover and launch content from:

• Degreed LXP mobile app
• Percipio web
• Percipio mobile app
• Any Percipio add-ons or plug-ins, such as Percipio for Microsoft Teams or Percipio ELSA browser plug-in

Yes. All Skillsoft content is imported with a Degreed provider value configured and so you would use the standard Degreed functionality to control access to the provider content.

No. There is no synchronization of Skillsoft collection information to Degreed LXP  and so it is not possible to assign a Percipio license via Degreed LXP .

You can assign licenses in Percipio, but learners may find content items in Degreed LXP  that they will not have access to in Percipio.

No. Degreed LXP only receives data for completed content records which it will show as a Degreed Validated Completion.

Yes. Degreed LXP shows as a Degreed Validated Completion as long as the content item exists in Degreed LXP .

Percipio sends usage to Degreed LXP within a few seconds of it occurring in Percipio.

Yes. The learner’s usage is tracked and available to report on using Percipio Analytics. Admins can also see the learner activity data in Degreed LXP .

Degreed LXP  will show a learner as having a Validated Completion record once they have met the completion criteria for the Skillsoft content.
