New Features

IT and Desktop Video Course Playback

Support has been added for enhanced video playback, including:

• Eliminating the display of topic transition pages.
• Suppressing learning point navigation.
• Adding a scrubber to Video Standard Caption page.
• Enhanced video controls: Progress bars have been added to the videos to allow the learner to see their current place in the video and the video duration.
• Performance improvement: Learners with low bandwidth connections will experience faster startup of video.

Completion criteria display updates

Skillport administrators have an updated option when setting the Minimum test score completion criteria. This setting affects how the field displays in the player:

• If the Minimum test score is set to average of all tests, the player field label will read Achieve an overall course score of XX%.
• If the Minimum test score is set to for each test, the player field label will read Achieve a minimum score of XX% on each lesson.

  • Exit Dialog
  • Test Status Report

New Player Property available in Skillport Administrator

A new player property, RIA_LMS_RESULTS_RELAY, has been added to the player settings and player settings RO mode in the Skillport Administrator. This property sets the player to use a relayer to transmit results to an LMS located on a separate machine from the content.

NOTE: This property has been added as part of the cross-origin resource sharing (CORS) solution, which will be implemented in an upcoming Skillport release. Do not use this property until the full CORS solution is released; modifying this property may disable the relayer and not allow the player to communicate with the LMS.

Bug Fixes

• A timeout problem during course play has been resolved. (CR 167355)
