Changes and Modifications

• User Interface (UI) Enhancements

  The Skillsoft Course Manager (SCM) has an updated interface, to provide greater clarity within SCM workflows.

  

• Topic-Level Video Download Support

  Support has been added for video topic download on a per topic basis. When downloading a topic, all topic components, including any associated videos, download. Previously, video components downloaded separately from the course content.

  Note: Compliance courses are not downloadable at the topic-level.

• Support for New Languages

  To support Skillsoft's expanding Compliance course library, SCM now supports 15 additional languages. You can install the application and associated help files in the following locales:

  • Bahasa Indonesia
  • Bahasa Malay
  • Bulgarian
  • Croatian
  • Danish
  • Finnish
  • Hindi
  • Hungarian
  • Norwegian
  • Portuguese (Iberian)
  • Romanian
  • Serbian
  • Swedish
  • Thai
  • Vietnamese

    Note: Content may not be available in all of these locales.

• Client Download Page Updates

  When downloading the SCM and supporting files, the language selection dialog has been updated to use the same convention as Skillport.

• Support has been added for the Skillsoft Course Player (Java-free).
• Accessibility-related defect fixes.

Known Issues

• A learner can't play a course in SCM when changing regional language to Hindi. (CR 194763)
• Inability to download certain courses. Content issue? - Michael Tighe to confirm. (CR 198105)

Bug Fixes

• An issue where videos in Business Impact courses would not play has been fixed. (CR 194297)
