New Features

• Accessibility Support for French and French Canadian

  Section 508 learners can now launch and play French and French Canadian content in accessibility mode.

• Business Impact Course Completion Messages

  A message now appears at the end of Business Impact courses, letting the learner know whether or not they have completed the course. If a test was erroneously assigned to a Business Impact course, the learner is instructed to contact their training administrator, who will need to remove the test score completion criteria, in order for the learner to complete the course.

Changes and Modifications

• Browser and Java Support Detection

  If a learner is using a browser that no longer supports Java, for example, Google Chrome v45, they will not be able to launch a course. Instead, the following message displays:

  Your web browser does not support Java, which is required to launch this course. Please log in with a Java-compliant browser and try again.

  This message displays when the player window opens and when the learner attempts to launch Skillsoft stock CCA content.

• Completion Status Help Update: A new topic has been added to the player help, to assist you in checking your completion status.
• Stock and custom content has been deployed with renewed certificates.

Bug Fixes

• Captions in custom course are not playing for videos. (CR 182504)
• Users are unable to use courses in Chrome/Firefox IE9 to launch courses installed to a third-party learning management systems (TPLMS). (CR 183713)
• An issue where TestPrep courses can post zero duration to SkillPort has been resolved.‏ (CR 18413)
• The player does not close when the course exit button is used on a tablet. (CR 184432)
• An issue with closed captions section of the course showing no visible indication that you are tabbed on it has been resolved. (CR 185232)
• An issue with the highlighting on the exit button when closed captioning is enabled in courses has been resolved. (CR 18523)
• The scroll bar in the take test section is not visible in specific brower environments. (CR 185454)
• Courses installed to a TPLMS will not launch in Internet Explorer 9. (CR 187277)
• A 404 error in a course has been resolved. (CR 190282)
• An issue that was causing the Settings button to not appear in localized courses has been resolved. (CR 190339)
