General Settings

Select General Settings to enable several settings to enhance your course play. Depending upon the course content, options include:

• AutoPlay: Enables or disables the automatic advancing of content, as each course component is completed, through the course.
• Video: Enables or disables video playback. When disabled, the player displays a static version of the page.
• Animations: Enables or disables animations playback.
• Keyboard Accessibility Hints: This mode displays shortcut commands for certain interactive exercises that the learner may engage in.
• Auto-start Audio and Video: Enables or disables video and audio content from automatically starting.

  Note: Auto-start Audio and Video is only visible in 508-mode.

• Show Video Transcripts: Toggles on or off the display of a page-level transcript within the content window. This setting has no effect on Course and Topic transcripts which are still available from the Transcript menu on the navigation bar.

You can also access playback speed and caption size settings from the Settings button on the Navigation bar.
