Download Tab

The Download tab only appears when you request to download course content from the web server. The courses are displayed in the same hierarchical format in which they are displayed in Skillport or your LMS. You can select to download complete courses, as well as individual lessons or topics.

To download content to the SCM

1. Log in to Skillport or your LMS.
2. Browse or search the catalog to locate the course that you want to download.
3. Move your mouse over the title of the asset, and click the Show Details link that appears.
4. Click Download to download the course.

   The SCM opens and the content is visible in the download tab. You can expand the folders to reveal all of the lessons and topics. Content that has already been downloaded appears with the downloaded file size in parenthesis next to the course, lesson, or topic. Content that has not yet been downloaded appears with the label (Not Downloaded) in parenthesis.

5. Select the items that you wish to download and click Download Now. Note that if you:
   • Select a course, the complete course is downloaded.
   • Select a topic, only that topic is downloaded.
   • Select an individual lesson, the lesson and all of the topics subordinate to that lesson are downloaded.
   • Select the video components, they will be downloaded with the course.

     Note: If you do not download the video components with a course, a static image will be displayed in place of video content. Not all courses offer separate video component download.

Note: If you select Cancel at any time during content download, and a topic has not yet downloaded in its entirety, then no part of the topic appears in your Play tab.
