You can print slides and slide decks. You cannot print Test and Poll questions and answer choices. However, the page in the Slide Preview area for such slides can be printed, which can act as a place-holder for course authors.
Note: Dialogue Design only supports printing one page per sheet. Also note that printing may take some time as each slide needs to load first.
To print slides:
In the Presentation Layout pane, select the slides you want to print.
You can select multiple slides by using the CTRL key or the SHIFT key.
You can select root node(s) such as a lesson, topic or sub-folder in which case all slides in that node will get printed.
From the File menu, select Print.
The Print dialog box appears. The default printer will be automatically selected. The status, type, location and any comments for the selected printer will also be displayed.
Specify one of the print options:
Selected slides - Prints only the selected slides. You can select multiple slides. The number of slides selected is displayed in parenthesis. If this value is zero, this option is disabled (this can occur if an empty parent node is selected). If a non-empty parent node is selected, such as a root, lesson, topic or sub-folder node, all the slides under that node are deemed selected.
All slides - Prints all the slides in the presentation. The total count of slides is indicated in parenthesis.
Click Print.
A progress bar displays while the slides are printing.
