When you open a mobile presentation containing audio files that was created using a prior version of Dialogue Design (v6.0 SR2 or earlier), you must re-import the existing audio files to ensure that they work correctly on both mobile and desktop platforms when published.
Dialogue Design v6.0 SR3 allows you to add more than one audio file to a single slide and converts imported .wav files to .mp4 and .spx file formats. Both file types (.mp4 and .spx) are needed in order for a presentation to play on both desktops and mobile devices. However, existing .wav files in presentations published using prior versions of Dialogue Design cannot be converted, and must be re-imported.
To re-import existing audio files
Dialogue Design converts each .wav file into a .mp4 file and a .spx file. If you did not delete the existing .mp4 file, Dialogue Design will retain that file and only convert the .wav file to a .spx file.
