Merge Slides to Create a Movie

You can merge a collection of image slides or movie slides to form a single movie slide.

Note: This option is not available for mobile presentations.

To create a movie by merging slides

  1. In the Presentation Layout pane, select the relevant image/movie slides by doing one of the following:
  2. To create the movie, do one of the following:

The slides are merged to create a movie.

When you choose multiple slides and make a movie, the resulting frame rate of the movie will be as follows:

    #

    Condition

    Action

    1

All slide durations are a multiple of 1 sec

    Make movie at 1fps

    2

All slide durations are a multiple of {1/3} sec

    Make movie at 3fps

    3

All slide durations are a multiple of 0.2 sec

    Make movie at 5fps

    4

All slide durations are a multiple of {1/6} sec

    Make movie at 6fps

If none of the above conditions apply, the image slides would have probably come from two movies with different capture rates. You then have the option of creating the movie at 6fps.

Note: If you attempt to merge image or movie slides with different dimensions or different Flash formats a message will be displayed. Select slides of the same dimension and Flash format and then try merging the movie again.
