Splitting a Movie into Slides

You can split the movie into a series of movie slides. The slides created by splitting the movie will contain the name of the original movie slide followed by a number. For example, if the name of the original movie slide was Training_Session, the slide names will be Training_Session_1 and Training_Session_2.

Once the movie is split into slides, you can add, delete or re-arrange slides. You can also record or import sound into a slide.

Note: This option is not available for mobile presentations.

To split a movie into slides

1. Select the movie slide in the Presentation Layout pane.
2. Do one of the following:
   • Click on the toolbar.
   • Click Slide > Split Movie from the menu.
   • Right-click and select Split Movie from the drop-down menu.

     The Split Movie dialog displays.

3. Move the slider to the desired position.
4. Click Split. For more information, see the Split Movie Dialog Box.

   The movie is split into two sections. The second section of the split movie loads into the Split Movie dialog box.
