The HTML Block Template

The HTML Block Template allows you to add almost any web based content to your overlay, such as formatted text, content with inline styles, embedded media, and JavaScript. You can add the block to almost all pages within Skillsoft Advantage and Welch Way packages, including the Home and Learning Track packages.

The HTML Block Template includes three fields:

The Title field, which is used within the Editor to identify the block.
The Block Header field, which is the title of the block as seen by the learner.
A text field, which supports HTML formatting and allows you to add a variety of web based content.

When you add the block to a page, all three fields are included. The width of the block, and the heading and text styles are determined by the underlying page and block structure. The width of the block is based on the number of columns used to present the page contents. The styles for the heading and text are inherited from the blocks already on the page.
