AI Coach Settings
From this page, you can configure who has access to the AI coach and specific settings surrounding feedback, knowledge sources, and performance reviews.
To access this page, select Site Settings > Site Configurations > AI Coach Settings.
Be sure to select Save Changes after changing any settings on this page. When you save changes, the new settings are automatically implemented for all users using AI Coaching.
AI Coach
AI Coach is turned off by default. When this setting at the top of the page is turned on, AI Coach is enabled for your organization. When it is turned off, no users in your organization have access to AI Coaching.
In this section, you have the option to Enable AI coaching for all learners. This setting is turned off by default. If this setting is on, all learners in your organization have access to AI coaching. If you leave this setting off, you see the option to add specific audiences to give AI coach access. Select Add Audiences and choose which Skillsoft Platform audiences should have access to AI coaching. Note, you can only add audiences you have access to.
Upload company knowledge sources to help inform the AI coach
In this section you can add documents to help guide your AI coach. These may include organizational leadership frameworks, values, or performance expectations.
Select Browse to choose a document from your computer to upload. Documents must be PDF or DOC formats. You can upload up to three files for your AI coach to follow.
Assessment feedback from colleagues
In this section you configure who is allowed to give feedback to learners.
You see the following settings:
- Allow only managers to be invited to provide assessment feedback: This setting is turned on by default. When this setting is on, learners can only invite their manager to provide feedback. They can not invite any other colleagues. If this setting is turned on, the other settings in this section are automatically turned off. If this setting is turned off, you can turn on the setting to allow colleagues to be invited.
- Allow colleagues to be invited to provide assessment feedback: This setting is turned off by default. If this setting is turned on, learners can invite both managers and colleagues to give them feedback in AI Coach. All feedback from colleagues remain anonymous. If you choose to allow colleague feedback, you can also configure the following settings:
- Display manager feedback separately from colleagues for the learner: If this setting is turned on, manager and colleague feedback show as two different metrics to the learner. Note, this decreases anonymity of the manager feedback. If this setting is turned off, all feedback is shown together.
- Set minimum number of colleagues required for a feedback request: In this field you can set a minimum number of colleagues that a learner must input in order to send a request feedback message. This helps responders remain anonymous to the learner.
Pulse Checks
In this section you can configure whether learners can complete Pulse Checks which are brief surveys that help learners track growth. You can configure the following settings:
- Allow learners to answer pulse check questions: If this setting is turned on, learners have the option to complete pulse checks. When you turn this setting on, you must set a frequency for how often learners are prompted to complete pulse checks.
- Allow learner to invite manager to answer pulse check: If you turned on the previous pulse check setting, you have the option to allow learners to also invite their manager to provide pulse check feedback. If you turn this setting on, learners are prompted to request manager feedback after completing a pulse check. They can also request manager feedback from the pulse checks tab under insights.
Performance Cycles
In this section you can select a date that marks the beginning of your organization’s performance cycle. If you provide a date in this section, the AI coach initiates preparation for the learner’s performance check two weeks prior to it taking place. If your organization has multiple performance checks a year, you can input multiple dates.
