Insights
Email campaign analytics show you:
- How many total emails you sent out.
- Of the total emails sent, the percentage of recipients who opened the email.
- Of the total emails sent, the percentage of recipients who clicked on at least one link within the email.
- How long your email engaged your recipients.
- How many times learners returned to the email and followed a link
Analytics Description
The Analytics page has three sections.
Summary section
In the summary section, you find the following information:
- Total email sent: This is total number of emails that got sent and should be equivalent to the number of users you selected when creating the campaign.
- Average open rate: Based on the total number of emails sent, this is the percent of users who opened the email.
- Average click through rate: Based on the total number of emails sent, this is the percent of unique users who clicked on at least one link in the email.
- Date sent: The date the email went to users.
- Created by: Which admin created the email campaign. Site admins and domain admins can view all email campaigns created by any other admins.
Graph section
The graph shows a day-by-day breakdown of how many times the email was opened and how many times a link within the email was clicked.
If one user returned to the email three times throughout the day, that is counted as three opens for that day. If that same user clicked the same link five different times and a second link two times, that would be 7 clicks.
You can filter the graph based on a date range to see how engaged users were with the email over time.
Report table section
- CTA label: Call to action label. This is the label that you gave the items in your email that a user can click on.
- URL: This is the link to the website destination that the user lands on when they click the CTA.
- TOTAL CLICKS: The total number of times within the specified date range learners clicked on that CTA. For example, if a learner clicked the CTA four times within the specified date range, all four clicks are included in this calculation.
- UNIQUE CLICKS: The number of users within the specified date range learners who clicked on that CTA at least once. For example, if a user clicked the CTA four times within the specified date range, only one click is included in this calculation.
