Screen Readers

To get started with Skillsoft compliance courses, it is important that you have your desktop configured properly.

• Your browser should be Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge.
• If you are using a screen reader, the preferred screen reader is JAWS. Accessibility has been tested using the current version of JAWS.
• Web accessibility should be enabled.

For the optimum learning experience, Skillsoft recommends that the instructional content be navigated using the instructions found in Player and Content Navigation.

When you access the course in web accessible mode using JAWS, you will notice that:

• Course audio and video files have auto-play automatically turned off to avoid conflict with the screen reader.
• Alternative text is provided for instructional, graphical content and for navigation buttons.
• Animations are disabled.
• Focus is visible on the screen.
