Register for Global Knowledge Live Courses

You will have a different registration experience, depending on the specific Global Knowledge (GK) live course arrangement your company has in place and which live course you select.

Global Knowledge (GK) live courses are available to learners in any of the following ways:
  • As free content within select Aspire Journeys. Free GK live courses are included with Skillsoft content plans and display in a Live Course section within select Aspire Journeys. When you select a free GK course from within a journey, you register through GK and attend free of charge. Your admin may choose not to show this content to you.
  • As paid content. Your company can add GK live course content and it displays in the Live Course Calendar and in channels under the Attend tab. When you select a paid GK live course, you register through GK and enter a payment method.
  • As included content with Career Journeys: If your company purchased a Career Journey and entitled you to it, you can see and register for GK live courses from within the track of an Aspire Journey or from the Live Course Calendar.

In all GK live course registration experiences, you register with your personal information on a secure GK site. This creates a user account for you. Credit for free, paid, and pre-paid GK live courses is tracked in Percipio. Credit for GK live courses included with Career Journeys is also tracked in Percipio. The following registration options are available:

To register for a free GK live course:

  1. Locate the free GK live course from within an Aspire Journey, select it.
  2. Select Register. The Global Knowledge, My GK site opens.
  3. Agree to cookies.
  4. Identify a date and time that meet your needs and select Add to Cart.
  5. Proceed to Checkout.
  6. Select Enter student info to create a new personalized account for use in subsequent check outs.
  7. Enter your company name, your name, email address, phone number and physical address.

To register for a paid GK live course:

  1. Locate the live course from the Live Course Calendar, from Search, or from the Attend tab of a channel.
  2. When you locate the class date and time that meets your schedule, select Register.
  3. You are prompted to agree that you are being transitioned to the GK site which will store your personal information.
  4. Your Cart page shows with the live course class selected.
    • If you are located in the US, select Submit to continue to payment options.
    • If you are in the EU and this is your first time registering for a GK live course, you select Register now to create an account to continue.
    • If you are in the EU and you previously registered for an account, you can select Login and checkout to continue.
  5. Select your payment method and enter required details. You may see options for Pre-pay, credit card, or purchase order. You may also be required to get approval before continuing.
  6. Proceed to Checkout.
  7. After you checked out, you receive an email notification within 24 hours certifying your registration with details on attendance. You will also see the live course class on your Live Course calendar within 24 hours.

If your company purchased a Career Journey and entitled you to it, you can register for the GK live courses like you would a Skillsoft Bootcamp or Leadercamp.

  1. Locate the GK live course from the Live Course Calendar or from within a track of an Aspire Journey.
  2. Locate the class date and time that fits your schedule and select Register.
  3. Confirm your name and email address. Make any edits.
  4. Check the box: I agree to allow my data to be stored in a US datacenter. You cannot continue without selecting this box.
  5. Select Verify email address.
  6. GK sends you a confirmation email and a request to activate your account if you have not done so previously. Follow all instructions in the email so you can prepare for and attend the class.
