Reset Device
Resetting a device
This resets the device back to its original state and any changes made during this session will be lost.
- If this device is part of a Windows domain, it is likely that you will encounter a domain membership issue, and may need to reset all Domain members including the Domain Controller.
- If you have changed some networking settings and have lost communication to the device, try to access the device's console.
Resetting all devices
- This resets all devices back to their states prior to your log in, losing any changes you made during the session.
- If you have changed some networking settings and have lost communication to the device, try to access the device's console.
Set behavior with Persistent Labs
- If you have a Persistent Lab, the Reset and Reset All buttons behave differently because the device is reset back to the state of your last log in. To reset the Lab back to the base configuration, use the Reset Persistent Labs feature in the Settings tab.
- When using this feature, you will lose all Lab progress and cannot return to your previous persistent state.
