The Digital Badges page in mobile app now shows the total number of badges earned by a learner.
Manage, promote and measure learning
The items in this section provide the tools you need to manage users and content, promote learning, and measure learning effectiveness on your bottom line.
Customers who have the need for their users to self register without an admin having to create an account for them, can start leveraging the new self-registration feature.
Self registration will be off by default, but when it is on, you can customize:
- Where learners can find the link to self register
- What criteria the user needs to specify about themselves
- What message appears on the registration page
- Which domains are valid
See Self Registration for more details.
Ecosystems and Integrations
The items in this section help you to integrate Percipio across your learning ecosystem and promote how Skillsoft works with its partners.

Usability Enhancements
The items in this section show where we are making improvements to the interface for a better experience.
When learners access the Activity page from their profile, they now see their activity organized with a left hand navigation instead of in tabs across the top. With this new design, learners have the ability to sort by the column headings and have access to a More Actions menu where they can add an item to their playlist or share the item with colleagues. Learners can also download their activity to a CSV file.
Previously when creating a new audience, the only way to add users to your audience was to include those whose attribute values equaled the value(s) you specified. You can now include users by setting the custom attribute to Does not equal a value. Sometimes it may be easier to exclude one or two values, than to include 35.
For more information, see Create an audience.
At the beginning of September, learners accessing Percipio Compliance will see an updated learner experience. This update more closely aligns the compliance experience with Percipio, while simultaneously introducing enhancements based on customer feedback and our own user research. Learners will see:
- Updated navigation including a breadcrumb trail
- No more banners across the top of the page
- All assignments listed on the page
- The ability to launch content in accessibility mode when using Chrome or IE11. When using another browser, the toggle will be replaced with information on how to enable content accessibility.
- A mutli-page layout including a page for each: Assignments, Player, and Training history
This document details the upcoming changes and addresses questions you may have.
Previously, all policy documents added to a course through content configuration loaded in a new browser window/tab. The new default behavior is for policies added as PDFs to open within the current window. This improvement creates a more intuitive experience that keeps learners directly engaged with the content.
The learner experience may vary slightly for policies that have been added as an external link because the content is hosted outside of Skillsoft's servers. We recommend adding a policy as a PDF to ensure a consistent user experience.
Previously when creating a new area or subject, you selected additional language check boxes at the bottom of the page and then specified a title and graphic for each language. Now when you want to add more languages for your areas and subjects, you use a drop down list.
For more information, see Create a New Custom Area.
