AI Updates

The items in this section highlight changes to AI elements in Percipio so you can stay in compliance with your internal processes.

We are targeting to update our AI conversation models for CAISY, AI Assistant, and AI-assisted search on May 29, 2025. Learners are not likely to notice any changes when interacting with any of these features.

This update is part of our commitment to staying current with the latest advancements in AI technology, ensuring that we continue to provide you with the best possible security and user experience. If you require additional information, please reach out to your Skillsoft account team.

Expanding skills of your workforce

The items in this section provide ways to grow your talent and fill critical skill gaps, building mastery with confidence.

The AI Assistant, now available from the Admin left navigation, can help you and your administrators get the most out of your Percipio platform, increasing adoption, engagement, and skills across your organization. AI Assistant not only makes content recommendations for banner promotions, assignments, and learning programs, but also answers your platform-specific questions and provides you links to relevant Percipio documentation to ensure you have all the necessary information at your fingertips. You can ask questions regarding what report you should run, how to create an assignment, or how to use Percipio to increase engagement.

To use the AI Assistant and make the most of your platform, ensure you have the setting turned on. Check out the FAQs for detailed information.

Manage, promote, and measure learning

The items in this section provide the tools you need to manage users and content, promote learning, and measure learning effectiveness on your bottom line.

When you view the Certification dashboard, you now can quickly determine whether a learner is certified by checking the new column: Certification status. Depending on how the certification path is setup, learners can achieve certification by either completing all content in the path or uploading their certification credentials.

To check the certification status of your learners:

  1. Open the Certification dashboard.
  2. Switch to the Certification paths tab.
  3. From the table, select View learners and view the Certification status column. If it is blank, the learner is not yet certified. .

Usability Enhancements

The items in this section show where we are making improvements to the interface for a better experience.

Previously, if a learner launched a content item that was part of an active Study Group, Percipio displayed a pink banner letting the learner know. To streamline the asset launching process and ensure better performance, the learner no longer sees that banner when launching an item that is part of a study group. Learners can still access their Study Groups from the Study Group page at any time.

When learners want to change their site language, they now see an improved user experience, that lets them easily select their preferred language from the globe icon in the top navigation. With this new experience, learners can search for their desired language using the search functionality within the modal. They also have the option to pin their preferred languages to the top for quick access.
