Workday Learning Integration Requirements

To use the Workday Learning connector with the Skillsoft Platform, as designed, you need to meet the following requirements.

If an item is marked with an asterisk (*), you must have it to integrate Workday Learning   with the Skillsoft Platform.

• *An active Skillsoft contract for all your learners who will be using Skillsoft content

• *An active subscription for Workday Cloud Connect for Learning (CCLRN) SKU. For more information contact your Workday Learning  Account Team.

• A valid primary unique email address for each Workday learner that is associated with their Workday profile. That same email must be associated with the learner's Skillsoft Platform profile.

• *A SAML Identity Provider (IdP) that is able to supply user details including the primary email address to the Skillsoft Platform, so learners can seamlessly access content in Percipio.

• *Credentials for Skillsoft to connect to the Workday Learning API so that Skillsoft can send the progress information for the learner completion tracking. (Workday API credentials are needed for content synchronization and learner activity tracking, including: Auth URL, Client ID, Client Secret, Content URL, and Tracking URL).

• *A valid identifier for each learner that is configured consistently between the Skillsoft Platform and Workday Learning. Supported learner identifier values include: email address.

• A Workday administrator who can enable required Cloud Connect for Learning configuration and security settings within Workday.

• Recommended: The same number of seat counts across all the Skillsoft content collections you licensed. We recommend this because all content from all Skillsoft collections is synchronized to one Workday Learning topic and all learners who can see this topic can see all the content.
