Manage Email Campaign Templates
You can create, edit, and delete email campaign templates to help ensure consistency across emails and teams. Templates help ensure all your admins are following your corporate brand guidelines.
Create a new template
To create an email campaign template:
- From the left navigation bar, select Learning > Email Campaigns. The Email Campaigns page displays.
- Select Create Email Campaign.
- Complete Step 1: Describe your campaign.
- Complete Step 2: Design your email. You can either design the email template from scratch or base it on an existing template. To base your new template on an existing template:
- Select Browse templates.
- Select the template from the list.
- Select Done.
- If you created a brand new design, select Save design as template If you based your design on an existing template, from the Save button, you can either:
- Save changes: This option overwrites the existing template with your new design.
- Save as copy: This option creates a new template with a new name.
- After you save your email as a template, you can either cancel, save the email campaign as a draft, or continue with the next step to add recipients and schedule, either way your template is now saved for future use.
Edit a template
To edit an existing email campaign template:
- From the left navigation bar, select Learning > Email Campaigns. The Email Campaigns page displays.
- Select Create Email Campaign.
- Complete and review Step 1: Describe your campaign.
- Choose Browse templates.
- Select the template you want to edit and select Done.
- Update the design in Step 2: Design your email.
- Under the Save button, select Save changes to update the existing template with the new design. You can always choose, Save as copy if you want to create a new template and not update the existing one:
- After you save your email template, you can either cancel, save the email campaign as a draft, or continue with the next step to add recipients and schedule, either way your template is now saved for future use.
Delete a template
To delete an email campaign template:
- From the left navigation bar, select Learning > Email Campaigns. The Email Campaigns page displays.
- Select Create Email Campaign.
- Complete Step 1: Describe your campaign.
- Choose Browse templates
- Locate the template you want to remove and select Delete from the more action menu associated with the template card.
- Confirm you want to delete the template. Any existing campaigns retain their formatting. Users will not be able to base new campaigns off this template.
- Select Done to return.
- After you remove your email template, you can either cancel or save the email campaign as a draft.
