Mobile Downloads

Viewing content offline is a convenient way to continue learning when there's no internet connection available and you want to save data usage. Access downloaded content by selecting the Download icon in the bottom navigation. There are two types of downloads:

  • Content you choose to download.
  • Content Percipio downloads for you based on your recent activity, interests, and role. This is called Smart Downloads. You can disable this feature if you do not want to use it.

Content that can be downloaded

While not all content can be downloaded and viewed offline, you can download and save the following content types to your device:

  • most book and book summaries
  • audiobooks and audio summaries
  • individual videos
  • course videos - one, many, or all videos from a single course
  • entire courses (knowledge checks and course tests are not available to you when playing courses offline)
Note: Please update the Percipio mobile app to the latest version in order to access download features.

Set up Smart Downloads

Smart Downloads lets you always have something in your download folder. If you turn on Smart Downloads, Percipio automatically downloads recommended content based on your past activity, your role, and your interests.This way, you always have something on your device to engage with even if your don't have a connection.

To turn on Smart Downloads the first time:

  1. When your device is online, tap Downloads from the bottom navigation bar to see your Downloads page.
  2. If you haven't previously dismissed Smart Downloads, you see the option at the top.
  3. Move the slider to indicate how much storage you want Percipio to use for Smart Downloads.
  4. Select Enable. Smart Downloads is turned on and automatically downloads recommended content.

To change Smart Downloads settings:

  1. If you previously dismissed Smart Downloads and now want to turn it on, tap Downloads from the bottom navigation bar to see your Downloads page.
  2. Select the Settings icon in the upper right corner.
  3. From the list, select the Smart Downloads option.
  4. Choose how you want Smart Downloads to behave:
    • Allow automatic download of content: Turn this option on to allow Smart Downloads to download recommended content based on your past activity, your interests, and your role. You will see up to 15 items unless Percipio reaches your storage limit. Recommended content stays in your list for 30 days or until you manually remove it — Percipio then replaces it with new content.
    • Set storage limit: Set how much space you want to allow Smart Downloads to use. It will consume up to the limit you set or 15 content items whichever comes first.
