Video Conference Setup
Video conferencing is an integral part of the Skillsoft Coaching experience and provides valuable face-to-face time between you and your coach.
During onboarding, you select your preferred option when prompted. Your options are:
- Zoom meeting powered by Skillsoft Coaching: This setting is the default. You can test it by following this link: https://zoom.us/test. If you do not see the option for Zoom, your organizations may have opted to only provide you the preferred video service option.
- My preferred video service: If you prefer or your company requires it, you can select to enter your own video service credentials. If you select this option, you must create a recurring video link that will be valid for the duration of your coaching experience. And, if required by the service or your organization, you must also share the password to access the video conference with your coach. After you confirm the video system, your coach is notified and future sessions will populate with the video link. You can switch the selection or change the preferred video link at any time by navigating back to the Video Settings icon in the left navigation.
Note: If your organizations chooses to use Zoom, they must add sites to their safe list. No PII is shared through Zoom.
