As a site admin of LX Design Studio, you can choose which apps are available for your organization.

By default, you organization can access all the LX Design Studio apps. If there are specific reasons, you can prevent access to an app.

Available apps include:

  • CAISY for Conversations: These are simulations that allow learners to practice having real-world conversations in a safe, low-stakes environment.
  • CAISY for Presentations: These are simulations that allow learners to practice presenting a slide deck to an AI audience in order to improve their public speaking skills and get real-time feedback on their performance.
  • Assessments: These provide a great way for learners to assess their knowledge on certain concepts and receive dynamic feedback on how they can improve.
  • Courses: The Course Designer app allows you to create courses with custom videos and assessments so you can cover a variety of topics in one structured learning plan.

To turn off an app:

  1. From your profile icon in the top right, select Settings.

  2. Locate the app in the list that you want to turn off and move the switch to Disabled. The app is immediately hidden from all users of LX Design Studio. If you previously created content using the app, you no longer can see or edit that content. If the content was published to your platform, learners can still access it.

To turn on an app:

  1. From your profile icon in the top right, select Settings.

  2. Locate the app in the list that you want to turn off and move the switch to Enabled. The app is immediately visible to all users of LX Design Studio. If you previously created content using the app, that content is available again.
