Configure Content Synchronization

Be default, Cornerstone LMS pulls all content in all collections you purchased from Skillsoft into the Cornerstone LMS catalog, except compliance content. For non compliance content, you can choose specific content or content types to target your Cornerstone LMS catalog. Once configured, the synchronization happens daily for all non-compliance content you selected.

Compliance Note: To deploy Skillsoft Compliance 1.0 content, see Managing and Deploying Compliance 1.0 content in your LMS/LXP, otherwise you can integrate Compliance Suite content like you do other Skillsoft content.
  1. Notify Skillsoft of your content selection choices, if any.
  2. Skillsoft sets up the catalog configuration and provides:
    • Which Edge Marketplace tile to use (EU vs US).
    • Your Percipio URL.
    • An Account ID also known as CCID. This ID is used to configure SAML and the Content Sync in the Edge Marketplace.
  3. Configure the Percipio by Skillsoft integration tile in Edge Marketplace with the CCID and the Percipio URL that Skillsoft provided. For more information or questions on the Edge Marketplace configuration, please see the Cornerstone LMS integration documentation.
  4. Within 24 hours after configuring the Edge Marketplace tile for the first time, Percipio courses appear in your Cornerstone LMS catalog.
    • The catalog sync runs daily after the initial download. This sync adds new content, updates existing content, or removes content that has been retired.
  5. Validate the catalog synchronization with the Cornerstone LMS Catalog Management tool. Refer to Cornerstone LMS Integration documentation for details.
  6. Associate all Percipio content with the required availability . Refer to Cornerstone LMS Integration documentation for details.
