How the Skillsoft Platform - Docebo integration works

Automated content management

Docebo is made aware of the Skillsoft content that is available via the Skillsoft Platform with an automated import using APIs. Docebo uses that metadata to create and update Skillsoft content item within its catalog. Each Skillsoft content item uses a Skillsoft Platform share link. When learners launch Skillsoft content from Docebo, the content launches within your Skillsoft Platform site.

Content launch and consumption

When learners launch a Skillsoft content item from Docebo, the item opens automatically in the platform without the learner having to log into the platform. This seamless experience uses SAML / SSO.

Learner completion tracking

This is how we ensure that Docebo has a record for each learner for each Skillsoft content item they accessed . The Docebo tracking connector ensures all Skillsoft training material / assets launched from Docebo or the Skillsoft Platform is tracked seamlessly back to Docebo. Any training material launched from the platform first must also live in Docebo for tracking to be sent back.
